• Reporter Game
Skill Application: Tactile discrimination: same/different
Objective: To be able to recognize textures, objects, or braille shapes as same or different.

Materials:

  • Echo Mic
  • Pairs of textures, objects or braille shapes

To Play:

  • Tell the child that he/she will be giving a report on whether textures, objects or braille shapes are the same or different.
  • Give him/her the Echo Mic to practice saying “same” and “different”.
  • Give the child a pair of textures, objects or braille shapes to compare.
  • When the child has decided on whether the comparison is the same or different, he/she “reports” it in the Echo Mic.
