Most of the games are made so that the teacher can reinforce any skill that needs practicing: vocabulary words, braille contractions, math facts, and more! You make up the cards and the games will provide the fun!

• How Do You Spell That Contraction?
Skill Application: Being able to spell contractions when using the keyboard.
Object: To match a contraction to the correct spelling.

Materials:

Poker chips with braille word contractions or contraction cards
A worksheet containing several spelling options for a contracted word

To Play:

Give the student a contraction chip or contraction card and have him/her read it.
The student places the chip or card on the correct spelling for that contraction.
For added reinforcement, the student can type the words on the keyboard.
