• Guess My Word
Skill Application: Vocabulary review
Object: While being given clues, correctly guess as many words as possible in 2 minutes.

Materials:

• Vocabulary word cards
• Stop watch (or a watch with a minute hand)
• Materials for recording points

To Play:

• One player begins by drawing a vocabulary card.
• After reading it silently, the player gives clues to the second player until the word is guessed.
• If the player giving the clues is not able to read the word, the word card can be “passed”.
• At the end of 2 minutes, the cards are counted and the points are recorded. A point is deducted for each word which is passed.

*NOTE: There is not a winner or a loser. Players work as a team to score as many points as they can.
