Most of the games are made so that the teacher can reinforce any skill that needs practicing: vocabulary words, braille contractions, math facts, and more! You make up the cards and the games will provide the fun!

Free Stuff

• Cover Up
Skill Application: Addition and subtraction through 12
Object: To be the first person to cover up all of his/her numbers.

Materials:

  • Strips of mat board divided into 7 sections with a random number (1-12) in each section.
  • Two dice
  • Chips, large buttons, etc. (any token to cover the spaces on the board)

To Play:

  • Players decide if high roll or low roll goes first. Players roll to see who goes first.
  • The first player rolls the dice and either subtracts or adds the numbers on the dice.
  • If the player has the number on his/her board, the number is covered with a token.
  • The game ends when one player has all of his/her spaces covered.
