Most of the games are made so that the teacher can reinforce any skill that needs practicing: vocabulary words, braille contractions, math facts, and more! You make up the cards and the games will provide the fun!

Skill Application:Positional concepts, listening skills

Materials:

  • Mat board
  • Velcro
  • 3 large and 3 little buttons (Can use more)

Place 9 Velcro squares on the mat board; 3 at the top, 3 in the middle, 3 at the bottom. Place Velcro on the backs of the buttons.

How to use:
Encourage child to listen. Depending on your student’s developmental level, the following are suggestions for placing the buttons on the board:

  • Take a big/little button and place it at the top (Repeat for bottom and middle)
  • Take a big button and place it on the bottom. Then…
  • Take a little button and place it above the big button
  • Take a little button and place it at the top. Then…
  • Take a big button and place it below the little button
  • Take a big button and place it ____. Then…
  • Take a little button and place it next to the big button.
  • Take a big/little button and place it in the top, left corner (Repeat for top, right corner, bottom left/right corners)
  • Take a big/little button and place it on the left, middle (Repeat for right, middle)
